Hi, I’m Suzette James

With 5 children of her own, Suzette brings together education with the real-world experience of managing a family. Her therapy plan is individual to your family’s needs because your family is unique and your solution should be unique, too.

Suzette is a licensed therapist with expertise in anxiety, depression, child behavior therapy, teenagers, and family systems. Her knowledge of children’s unique personality types and the family’s style of rearing prompt her treatment approach and is used to direct workable and reasonable solutions.

For teens, Suzette specializes in guiding adolescents through transitionary periods into adulthood, offering support with navigating life changes and coping with depression and anxiety. She provides tailored strategies to help teens manage their mental health challenges and build resilience as they navigate the complexities of adolescence.

For adults, Suzette offers expertise in marriage and couple dynamics, assisting couples in strengthening their relationships, resolving conflicts, and fostering greater intimacy. Additionally, she helps individuals find balance in their daily routines, understanding their inherent strengths, and learning to accept the things they cannot control.

Suzette also provides compassionate guidance and support to individuals through the many stages of raising children, helping them balance their own needs and desires with the demands of parenting. Her first-hand knowledge of attention problems and learning/behavior therapy enables her to understand why typical parenting information doesn’t always work.
